BACKGROUND: Executive Suite is a text based business adventure/simulator from 1982. The game consists of many dilemmas. They all seem to have the characteristics of "IF you do this, THEN this happens." Take a look at the screenshots and download link here: [url removed, login to view] The full game takes about 30-45 minutes to play through and have some variety to it. THIS PROJECT: The output required from this project is: A modern mini version inspired by the original game. It gives the user 10 various levels and ends when you are "President of the company". Each new level is reached when the user answers correct on a dilemma on the previous level. The various dilemmas will only have 2 alternatives (right and wrong). If the player selects the wrong answer he will be given a new dilemma on his level. Each level will have 4 dilemmas that will be randomized so people can play several times. This should secure 3-5 minutes of play in his/her browser. You will be supplied with 40 dilemmas. 4 for each level. Each business dilemma will have a RIGHT and a WRONG in order to decide if user is taken to NEXT LEVEL or will be given a new dilemma on the current level. When user reaches the final level and succeed it, a page with "congratulations and so on" will be presented. You will be supplied with all the creative text, so it is only the programming that is needed. You need to put this into a web based game that can be run from the browser. PHP and MySQL is preferred, but other options may be considered. I also would like to have the ability to add pictures to the various dilemmas. ..will also like to be able to edit the text of the various dilemmas. WHEN MAKING A BID Will need to have a look at your previous work examples before deciding on who gets the project. Please post references on the project message board. Money will be put in escrow and released when project is completely finished. PROJECT BUDGET I do not know how much work this will take, but from my own experience of BASIC and IF THEN statements I assumed it would take 5-15 hours when setting the project budget.
