Hey,
I'm looking for to develop a Flash (AS3) GUI and a server side based on (PHP || Java || Perl) connected to a MySQL db.
Only programming job, all the graphics will be done by us.
DB + Admin:
[*] Each player must be registered to the MySQL.
[*] Each player must have own chips count.
[*] Simple admin for viewing logs and editing users (PHP)
Server Requirements:
[*] Only logged in players can play.
[*] Server must support login via Flash client and auth
[*] Server must run as daemon, preferably with a console log. no GUI. (must run on a Linux server only)
[*] Server must log all actions, all card dealings all chips transfers.
[*] Server must deal the cards 100% randomly.
[*] Server and Client must have secure connection at some level of encryption.
[*] Server must support tables and be able to read the servers list from MySQL including the current players count.
[*] Viewers can join to view without sitting and playing.
[*] Server should recognize a player, if the connection dropped and the player rejoins to login to the same room.
[*] Must have some poker inelegance.
[*] Can support at least 100 players playing at the same time.
Client Requirements:
[*] No graphics needed, we will do that.
[*] Must support Flash 9+ (cross browser)
[*] Register option and Login option via Flash or auth by cookie.
[*] Secure connection to server and data transfer.
General notes:
This project is for a small community tournament therefore the small budget (hope its possible). Will be used to play once a month for the tour.
Not aimed to be anything like zynga's poker nor anything like facebook's stuff.
Just a simple multiplayer poker, I'll do all the web front myself and all the graphics needed including the cards and all.
During the development you may use any card design you like, just as place holders.
