Design work for Facebook fan page
$30-5000 USD
Paid on delivery
Design work and installation of Facebook fan page for a small organization. This will require knowledge of FBML (Facebook Markup Language), and probably some decent HTML skills.
Looking for main splash page, plus light work on a couple of other pages.
Would like to see existing samples of Facebook development.
## Deliverables
The job entails the following: 1. Designing and installing a splash page on a Facebook fan page. This will be using FBML and probably HTML. Examples: "Shop + Share" page on Best Buy site: [url removed, login to view] "Nokia" page on Nokia corporate site: [url removed, login to view] "Montblanc" page on Montblanc corp. site: [url removed, login to view] These are extremely high level examples, and we are a very small company. We may not be able to afford the same quality. For the landing page we will provide a good quality image and text which you will use for the layout. It will be a simple design, family oriented. We are a birthing center. 2. We will want our main image to be made as large as possible. Right now it is small, and we know it can be increased in size with a plugin. However, whatever is done with that image, we want our logo to be displayed properly throughout the rest of the site. In resizing the logo for the front page, we know that it looked either too big or too small on the other pages. This is where a knowledge of Facebook design is important. It's unlike other work. 3. We would like to have an opt-in made for our newsletter and placed on the front page of the fan site, if possible. If not, then another tab should be created for it. We've not done opt-in before, so we'll have to know what service to use to capture the names/addresses and how to do it, if you know. 4. There may be one more page, based on a promotion we are doing. Again, some light HTML will be good. This is pretty basic stuff if you know FBML and HTML. It won't take you long to do it. In summary, there are 1-2 pages to design, the main image resized, and the opt-in created. We are open to other suggestions, but this is the basic work we need right now.
