I require an application that will run on both the iPhone and the iPod Touch.

It must communicate with an existing website dedicated to provide price information for a certain product. This website? lets users enter a price they have paid for a certain product in a certain location, and shows averages per country, city and venue.

The application has two functions:

1) The application must communicate with the existing website to retrieve pricing information and show the average price (as provided by the website) for the country, city or venue name (whichever is available based on the GPS location). If no GPS location is available or the user doesn't want to use it , the user must be able to search by country, city or venue name.

2) The application must be able to 'post' the current location (long/lat, nearest city, country) combined with a price entered by the user (and optionally a venue name) to the website.

## Deliverables

I require full copyright to everything that is created as part of this project. I have plans to? buy? other iPhone applications, if you do a good job, this will give you a good chance to additional work.?

The following questions I received from potential sellers and are answered here so everyone has full information:

1) so iPhone/iPod application can simply call a Safari instance to access html pages optimized for uikit, ok ?

--> Yes, that is OK, if you can retrieve the GPS-position of the iPhone via JavaScript

2) you plan to distribute it on AppStore ??

--> Yes (most likely as a free app)

3) if yes to 2), you have Apple certs or you need my certs to sign application ?

-->? I don't have apple certificates (yet). But if necessary I would be willing to buy them. For your bid: yes, I would like to use your certificates, but if I decide to buy my own later, could you sign the application with my certificates?

4) is the website yours

--> yes, it is mine and it is programmed in PHP.

5) is there an API or XML Webservice available to call?

-->? I don't have a SOAP of XML Web Service yet. I was thinking of creating a simple webform where the iPhone can post a city name (for example) and retrieve results in a simple XML or HTML response file.

6) Do you provide GPS coordinates for venues?

--> About the GPS-coordinates: I would like the iPhone (if possible) to post the following data to the website to store a price:

- country (determined by the iPhone)

- nearest city (determined by iPhone)

- venue name (manually entered by the user)

- long/lat (determined by the iphone)

Actually I would not be using the GPS-coordinates at first, only in a second release to automatically determine the venue name. In the first release they would not be used yet.
