php array functions

**I need help writing some PHP code. I need to use the FANN library ([url removed, login to view]). Specifically I need help on how to retrieve data from MySQL and pass it into the arrays which are required by the functions. The specific functions to be called are fann_create, fann_train, fann_save, and fann_run. More specifically the fann_train and fann_run are the ones that require arrays as input and the array must be populated from MySQL. The data must be retrieved using "SELECT * FROM $argv[1]". The PHP code must auto-detect the column names which will be returned from the "SELECT", because the column names will not be known in advance by the program. In fact, the program may be invoked at different times with different values for $argv[1], corresponding to different tables which will have different columns. The program must also detect the data type (integer, decimal, double, enum, set, or varchar) for each column, and call an appropriate conversion function for each one (convert_numeric() or convert_string(), as appropriate). I will provide definitions for convert_numeric() and convert_string(). I am a database and mathematics expert. But I know very little PHP, so the coder must provide 100% working, tested code. I cannot help debug the PHP. Since I don't understand the code, the program must provide very clear error messages in case anything is wrong. The convert_numeric() and convert_string() functions are very simple and involve only math, so it was easy for me to write them.
