I need a web form that pulls data from two tables, customers and products and posts product quantities selected per customer into a third table.
The customer ID and name will be used to populate a drop down list box from which the user will select the customer that he is inputting an order. The order form itself will be populated from the product inventory file to show the product number, description, and have a numeric spinner control for the quantity ordered. Those items that have a quantity greater than 1 input will, upon being saved, insert new records into a third order table with the customer ID, the product ID, and the product quantity ordered.
The number of items in the inventory list onscreen will be variable depending upon the selection criteria and number of items in the product catalog. The form presented will preferably have a tabbed interface automatically generated by code so that there will not be a single long page (there may be 100 or more items in the list), with a program generated tab label indicating the range of products appearing on that page. The number of items on a page tab needs to be easily (though not necessarily end-user) modified.
The system will be using OLEDB to connect to Visual Foxpro data and needs to be written using Visual Studio Express edition. I am very familiar with the data and will be doing integration to the main system and also able to help with sample data and connection requirements.
