Image analysis to extract data
This project is a “Program?? that shall extract data from an image. The image will be a high-resolution color digital color image. The image is of the data field on an object. The data may be hard to read. You may need more that OCR to extract the data. The image of the object will not be oriented and the letters and numbers may be in any orientation in the data field on the object. Upside-down, sideways, or at any angle. The “Program?? shall extract that data from the data field and transform the image to a “upright position??. The image and data shall then be saved in a file. Analysis time is important. The “Program?? shall be able to process at least 300 images per minute. The sample image has the data: D962. Their will be only 4 different letters and the numbers 0-9. The number will not be more that 4 digits long.
If third party software will be used to extract the data you must list the “Image Analysis Software?? you plan to use and the approximate cost of the software and/or the cost of a single use license.
Do not include the cost of third party software or license in your bid. In comparing bids I will add the cost of the third party software to your bid.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
4.) Analyze images like the sample "Data Field" image and extract the data.
5)Analyze and extract the data from 300 images in less that 1 minute.
6) The error rate shall be less that 1 single digit or letter ierror in 300 images. If each data field has 5 numbers or letters that is one error in in 1,500 (300X5= 1,500)
7) I will supply the 300 images to verify the program and error rate.
