Requirement:
Create a chrome extension having following features:
1. The extension will be hosted on our webserver, and the user should be able to download the extension from there.
2. After download, the extension should be installed automatically in the end user’s chrome browser.
3. Also, in the webpage of our site, a link will be displayed which when clicked by the user, will lead to the chrome webstore for download of the extension.
4. The extension will be active only when our application is run.
5. The end user will enter a link on chrome – e.g. [login to view URL]
6. The myapplication will open
a. In Full screen
b. All tabs will be hidden
7. The extension should be able to read a flag which will be set in the local storage by the myapplication.
a. If the flag == 1, a button should be displayed on the browser page, which when clicked by the user will minimize the screen.
b. If the flag == 2, a button should be displayed on the browser page, which when clicked by the user will minimize the screen. Also the browse’s tabs will be active, and user can create a new one tab.
c. If the flag == 0, the button should be hidden, and user should not be able to minimize the screen. All tabs will be hidden and user cannot create any new tab.
8. When myapplication exits, the screen should be reverted to original state and the extension should be disabled.
