I need a better logo for my company/website than I currently have

Please see my website ([login to view URL]) The home page has my current company name and logo on it. It was a temporary solution until I had something better. This is where you come in, hopefully :-) I am open to just about any idea, as long as it conveys a sense of elegance, sophistication, and simplicity -- nothing to fancy. It can be an icon with letters/words incorporated into it, or it can be something more abstract. As this is a start up, I apologize that I can't afford too much at the time. As a fellow artist, I know how frustrating it is when people ask you to do professional work for amateur pay, (which I've certainly done my share of) So I'm putting this out there and hoping for the best! Thank you
