Punching Bag Accelerometers IPad App

You are free to propose a different project approach. The approach below is illustrative of the end results required.

1. I want to connect multiple wireless sensors via BlueTooth LE (the TI SensorTag) to an IOS device. See [login to view URL]

2. Develop and IOS app that does the following:

a. General concept: Attaching on or more accelerometers to a punching bag, and for this phase of the project, simply collect the data in format usable by the app.

b. Setup page to easily connect to the sensors (I will test with three, but the app should support up to 10) – allowing a name to be assigned to each.

c. Collects data from each of the connected accelerometers – please discuss in your proposal how often data can be polled, whether to have the accelerometers instead push data when an acceleration event occurs, or other alternative.

d. A means to export the data from the app. I am fine with a crude method such as email, ftp or it could connect to a database on heroku, amazon or other cloud service.

3. If this is successful, there will be additional phases.

TI provides the connectivity tools etc. for the APP (see [login to view URL] ), which is the bulk of this work. The key purpose of this project is to test the feasibility of managing, simultaneously a plurality of TI Sensor Tags from an IOS device (you may assume IPAD).

Deliverables:

1. Deliver app for testing using [login to view URL]

2. Deliver source code and instructions to compile, including all dependencies.
