Fix a couple of javascript / jquery problems on Opencart theme

Hi,
I have created an Opencart theme but I'm having troubles with the 'Add to Cart' buttons that appear on the homepage, category pages and product pages.
As you can see here on the demo at the Opencart website when the 'Add to Cart' button is clicked it smoothly scrolls up to the top of the page and adds the data to the mini cart : [url removed, login to view]
On my theme when the 'Add to Cart' button is pressed it is very unreliable and sometimes doesnt work and sometimes just refreshes the page without updating the cart, you can see my theme here : [url removed, login to view]
I need the 'Add to Cart' button to work properly on all pages.
I guess its a javascript problem. Should be easy for a javascript expert so please bid low.
