A fairly simple and effective system needs to be build in... use of ajax is important... and very simple web 2.0/css interface needed. And this one should be top priority...for anyone who has lots of work on hand should not opt for this.
We will have a employee table, vendor table, product table, customer table, and order entry table (master and detail)...an order can have multiple products.
The interface and navigation should be very user freindly ...and above all... it should be fairly ajaxed (i'm insisting on ajax, make sure)
There will be a simple admin section to add products, employees, vendors, manage customers and orders.
Where as the front-end will allow employee to login and enter order data .. and also allow him to add new customers ... after checking for existing ...
finally the orders data has to be exported to a specific csv format ...
Pls. put your questions .. i'm currently working on pseudo code... which will give you clear picture..
