I have a good project for a programmer with solid knowledge of PHP and MySQL databases. You will be attentive to detail including grammar, spelling (English) and punctuation and write clean code with documentation. Furthermore this project does not have to be created from scratch, SOME CODE IS ALREADY PROVIDED THAT IS TO BE USED, it just needs to be amended to allow for more fields.
No design is required as this will be covered by another team.
There are 2 main components that need to be completed:
You can bid on 1 component or on the whole project however please break up your bid per component (price and timeframe). This project MUST be completed within the timeframes that you set. Please bid for the complete job, not per hour. You will be able to be contacted via MSN Messenger or email 9-8pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time +10GMT). Payment is via PayPal or Scriptlance.
1. Log In Member Access
Go to [url removed, login to view] and log into the account using: USERNAME: test11 PASSWORD: test11; to see how it works.
Other relevant files you can view are located at [url removed, login to view] to create accounts. Other associated pages will be provided for this component.
You will be required to duplicate this login system with the following fields:
Contact, Email, Phone, Fax, Mobile, Business Name, Address, Suburb, State, Postcode, Country, Delivery Address, Delivery Suburb, Delivery State, Delivery Postcode, Delivery Country, # of Staff, # of Rooms, # of Years Operating, Products, Exclusive, Body, Facial, Username, Password, Date Joined, Last Log In, Subscribe, Status, etc.
The existing features such as Edit Details, Change Password and User Intrusion (you cannot edit usernames and must be logged in to view) must be available. However all accounts will be manually flagged active with a NEW PAGE TO BE CREATED where admin can enter the username, generate a random temporary password, activate an account and send a confirmation email to the user.
ONCE THIS IS DONE YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO PROVIDE DOCUMENTATION ON HOW TO ADD ADDITIONAL FIELDS IN THE FUTURE. This can be a Word Document.
2. PHP Shopping Cart
Next we need a PHP based Shopping Cart built. You have a choice of any PHP based software available including OSCommerce, Zencart, etc. however you will need to provide a brief description why you have recommended that software.
Modification and requirements of the shopping cart will include:
a) Discounting of selected items WHEN LOGGED IN. The percentage discount needs to be amendable and processed automatically to reflect in the check out. This also needs to have a global function for all logged in members with a special mode for certain identified users. (eg. If you are logged as JOHN you get an additional discount)
Also users that are LOGGED IN will be charged a standard AU$15 fee for freight where as other users will have items sent for free.
b) Promotional codes available to be entered on products AS WELL AS at checkout. When entering promotional codes on the pages will update and reflect the promotional products / discounts at checkout.
c) Payment processing for PayPal and VeriSign PayFlow needs to be integrated.
d) Currency conversion needs to be available.
e) New members that join need to be able to subscribe / unsubscribe to a database. Admin is then notified by email.
THERE IS NO NEED TO ADD PRODUCTS TO THE SHOPPING CART. The software you have choosen must have a user friendly control panel for us to enter our products, prices, descriptions, images, featured, specials, status, quantity, etc.
I hope enough information has been provided to give a good idea of the project. Although it requires attention to details the major of the code is there for you to re-write as needed. As we only need the backbone created this should not take too long. If there are additional requirements I will post them or notify you immediately. Files are to be installed and operational on the server that I will give you access to. A backup will be zipped and delivered electronically when the project is complete.
