**Executive Summary**
Social networking site which shows blocs(2d boxes) on screen of any type of message users want to display to the world.
Anyone can register, anyone can create a bloc. Must be registered to create a bloc.?
Blocs will be a tile effect and scroll off the bottom of the screen once new blocs are added.
'Load more' at the bottom of the screen, similar to Twitter. Once clicked, will load more blocs on screen.
When users post their bloc, they will be asked which genre it is (science, tech, politics, music, funny etc) each time they bloc something.
They will also be asked what type it is (video, text, quote, image and so on)
**Design**

I didn’t want to post any sites I like here, as I want you to come up with the design. I want it to be award winning 100%.?
**Compatibility**
Users will be able to sign in with any of their accounts they hold with the majority of social media sites. E.g.
Twitter?
Open ID
Myspace
**The bloces**
The rest of the screen will contain the blocs.?
Users will have their own account areas where they can create as many blocs as they want, whenever they want and ‘publish’ them to the home screen.?
Users will be able to embed anything in a bloc. Take a look at the Facebook feature. When you go to your profile, add a link or a video, it grabs a sample of that media automatically and places it below. I want the same as this.
After users have embedded their clip, text, image, link or anything else instead of an ‘ok’ button, they will have ‘bloc it’.
Users will be able to ‘favourite’ their favourite blocs in a ‘favourites’ area in their control panel.
**Watching? **
Users will be able to ‘watch’ a bloc. This means that that bloc will appear in a ‘watched’ area in their control panel. If the bloc gets deleted, moved or changed that user will receive a notification in their inbloc with the particulars of what happened.
Email notifications?
Registered users will be able to receive emails from the system as to if someone has watched, or favourited their bloc.?
**Re-blocing**
Users will be able to ‘re-bloc’ with a single click. This means that a duplicate of that users’ bloc is created, but attributed to the user who re-bloced it. A notification will be at the top of the re-bloced bloc, saying it has been re-bloced. Similar to re-tweeting on Twitter.
**Sorting? **
Users will be able to sort by media. Video, text, images, quotes
Users will be able to sort by genre, business, art, funny, and so on.
**API**
We have no use for an API as yet. But we will need one to get started so users can interact from different providers.?
**Landing page**
We’ll need a landing page. Take a look at Twitter. Users will get a taster for the site login or register.?
**Registration**
Users will choose a username, which will be their alias on the site.
Each new user will have their account placed on a new sub-domain of the site, which will be on (e.g.) <[url removed, login to view]>
**Expanding the bloc - optional(I want to test this before making it live)**
Users can choose to create a full bloc. As the blocs show a summary of information, users can have the choice to create a ‘full bloc’. When users click on the smaller bloc, which will appear on the home page, it can be expanded into a bigger bloc or ‘full bloc’ that will appear on a full page. Users can choose to enter more detailed information in this full-scale page. Each bloc posted on the home screen will show whether the bloc is expandable or not. With an icon that is enabled or not.
