I have an auto repair business and am finding that many of my customers would prefer to be contacted through text with updates on their cars. I would like to use a Twilio account and have a control panel built onto a windows server (I use GoDaddy) that would allow me to easily text back and forth with customers. It would need to show full conversations and be able to show the history of text messages that have been sent. It would likely be used with 10-15 customers per day. If you have knowledge of using Twilio, we can discuss it more.
The work I am proposing would be a web page (on my GoDaddy Windows server) that would allow me to enter a customers name and text number and then either use a dropdown to select a pre-written text or openly type a message to them.
I would need to be notified when the text is read (kind of like a read receipt in email) by a color change or notification on the web page.
The web page would need to show a complete conversation for each customer (I may have 10-15 customers per day that we text to). And it would need to show all active conversations on the same screen, maybe an "Accordion" type view that shows all open conversations, but allows you to expand each one individually.
I would also require an offline notification (I've seen this available in Chrome) that would notify me of responses even if my browser was closed.
I would also need a way to look up message or conversation history. There could be several conversations going on the screen at once.
