I am looking for an experienced WordPress/PHP developer for two small initial things. First off I need to create a new simple home page website for my company with a contact page using effective captcha/recaptcha features to block/minimize spam, solicitations and hacking attempts. It should also have cookie warnings and a template for blogging that looks professional.
Also have a second site that needs some technical php errors fixed that occurred after migrating it from AWS to In-Motion hosting. These problems do not appear to be a problem with MySQL but rather the overly, expansive PHP framework settings used by the firm that built it. The AWS version is still running for reference but needs to be shut down upon fixing the errors.
For the home page I am open to recommendations for a WordPress theme, but already have wordpress up and running and a suitable logo. I am looking for ZERO dead code, extra software, features I didn't ask for, etc and ZERO subscriptions or free-trial services that require a credit card (no [login to view URL]).
As a customer, I too am a technical consultant and knowledgeable with networks, routing, IP etc. and code extensively for a living but have no time or patience to spend learning word press. For someone experienced this should be beyond easy and not take long. If I see value and real competence, I may invest further. I have little patience for amateurs.
