Enhancing 3D Human Model Fitting and Attribute Extraction from Images/Videos with Python

We are looking for an experienced Python developer who is well-versed in deep learning techniques and has prior experience working with computer vision projects. The developer is expected to draw inspiration from existing Github repositories and create Python scripts that can be run locally and provide a complete, standalone solution.
Tasks:
1. Reproduce and Enhance Existing Model:
Reproduce and enhance the work done in the Learned Vertex Descent (LVD) by enriccorona (ECCV 2022). The enhancement should include retraining the model separately for male and female, in addition to the default neutral option. The final deliverable for this task will be an end-to-end implementation of the repo that can run locally.
2. Extract Personal Attributes from Image/Video:
The Python script should take an image or video of a person as input and use deep learning techniques to extract:
- The age, gender and race of the person. You may reference the repo juan-csv/Face_info for this task.
- The skin color of the person. ChenglongMa/SkinToneClassifier might be useful for this.
- The hair style and color of the person. alexkalinins/hairnet-ai and Lingchen-chen/Dynamic-Hair might be useful references.
- The face map of the person. You may reference abdallahdib/NextFace for this task.
The entire process should be presented in a clear pipeline for execution locally.
Timeline:
The work is expected to be completed within one calendar month from the start date.
Milestones:
The project will be broken down into several milestones for effective control, review and payment. The milestones will be set based on delivery and not on the basis of time.
Additional tasks:
Depending on the success and quality of work, there will be additional tasks available for consideration.
Skills Required
Proficiency in Python programming
Experience in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
Strong knowledge in Computer Vision and Image Processing
Prior experience with 3D modeling, specifically human model fitting
Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques.
Familiarity with the referenced GitHub repositories or similar projects.
