I’m in need of an experienced Python developer who can assist with software development, web scraping, and data analysis tasks. The key task is to integrate Python with Sage Business Cloud Accounting for a South African business. The specified tasks are as follows:
- Develop software with Python for integration
- Scrape necessary data from sage business cloud accounting for integration
- Analyze the data to ensure smooth integration
- Visualize the data in PowerBi
Task1: Login to sage business cloud accounting with the credential i will provide
Task 2: Use python to pull the required data (Sales, inventory, customers, and
1. Daily sales data (value and volume) for each outlet:
a. by SKU, brand, product group, colour/base type, etc.
b. by sales executive/account manager/others
c. customer type
2. Daily inventory data (value and volume) for all outlets by SKU, brand, and product
group, colour/base type, etc.
3. Customer data (name, type of customer (decorator, homeowner, etc.), location,
etc.) and purchase history—useful input for loyalty scheme
4. Marketing promotion report: sales by volume and value (pre-discount value and
discounted value
Task 3: This data can be stored on a local server or a mini website that can hold the data
Task 4: PowerBi speak to this database and visualize the information.
I have the login details and some API documentation. Unfortunately, I do not have the necessary credentials and access to perform the Sage Business Cloud Accounting integration. Therefore, I will require someone who can handle the entire process of acquiring these credentials.
The ideal freelancer for this project will have extensive knowledge and experience in Python, software development, web scraping, and data analysis. Proven experience in Sage Business Cloud Accounting integration and a keen understanding of processes for acquiring required credentials and access will be highly desirable.
A knack for problem-solving, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to guide me through the integration process are qualities I value.
Above is the full project scope, but at the moment, i want someone who can quickly speak to the sage business cloud accounting database and call data using the login credentials and Api documentation i will provide.
