Note to bidders: The likely candidate for this project is known to us, but you are welcome to introduce yourself for future work with me. I am looking for CAD modelers with 3D Printing experience *AND* their own MakerBot or similar device so that we can collaborate and iterate rapidly. I supply filament to you while we prototype. Then I make the same model on my printer.

PROJECT DETAILS & YOUR TASK:

Budget guideline: $125 bid + potential bonuses.

You will design a set of interlocking hull and deck segments for 3D printing a boat model that is approximately 27"x30"x2" also with twin pontoon hulls approximately 20"x4"x1" each. The various segments must be printable in small groups of pieces on a makerbot type of 3D printer with an [url removed, login to view] inch print volume, while attempting to plan a minimal number of print runs.

The interlocking pieces may be aligned using dowel inserts and glued together. Preferably they will be bolted together.

Small light fixtures and simulated marine accessories must also be printed, Small standard RC servos and wiring must be planned as well.
