3D rendering of a glass ball and a funnel

Create a simple model of a sphere on top of a funnel (surface of revolution). The sphere is made of glass and the funnel is mirrored on the inside. Show the full 3D sphere, but only the vertical cross-section of the funnel. See attached image for instructions. Render this with two backgrounds. Control lighting/backgrounds to add realistic highlights, reflections and caustics.
