This website is an online service that allows disabled people who require free rides to post their requirements online and for volunteers to see the listings and take on any tasks that they like.
The website would have a portal for users to add in the required rides with the following information
Requestor Name
Contact
Email Address
Pick up address with postal code
Destination with postal code
Pick up Time
Passenger Profile
Special Requests
The user would also be able to select if the ride is a one off task or a regular task
if its a one off task , it will prompt the user to enter the exact date.
If its a regular task , it will prompt the user to enter the days of the week which the ride is required, the start date and the duration ( max 3 months )
The website should be designed such that all the required rides are displayed in a calendar mode. Visually, on the homepage, there should be a calendar at the side where volunteers can click on the specific dates to see the list of rides that are required that day. The listing of rides can also be filtered by geographical locations ( according to postal code). Once the volunter click on the listing, it will display all the information and the volunteer can accept the tasks by entering their contact information. The contact information of the requestor will then be emailed to the volunteer and the listing disappears from the public view
For regular tasks, volunteers do no need to take on the entire task but just individual daily tasks. But when the user enters the details, it will populate all the required dates with the same task.
