I need a website that can be hosted on fatcow.com. The function of the site is a directory of information similar to the yellowpages for an organization. Users will be able to sign up, log on and for a fee post their information, some users will be free and there will be redeem coupon field. Fees will be collected via fatcow e-commerce. Annual renewal must be build in, along with an account management system.
I would like the site to be apple friendly, in so much as workable on an ipad, iphone etc. It would be very cool to have and app that could be downloaded for the site that would link back.
Information posted by the member will consist of 30 to 40 text fields and 1 photo with an estimated 2-3k members. Approximately 10 of the field will be pre-set with 80 to 100 categories, each category might have 20 sub-categories and some might even have secondary sub categories. Users will fill in 20 fields that have unique demographic data (e.g. name, address) and addition 5-10 field will have administrative function, (e.g., activation date, payments) and the rest will be from a pre-set table.
The pre-set table will be categories, users will select a category from the table, and doing so will trigger the sub-category and secondary sub-category table. So there is a possibility of up to 3 classifications per category. The User will have the ability to put up to 3 different categories.
There will also be a button for the user to add a category sub-category or secondary sub-category. When this option is selected that data will need to be directed to a special file in the admin section for manual input. The admin section will need to be super user friendly so that when a category needs to be added it can be done with relative easy.
When the data from the user is input and verified the user will be directed to the payment section, this should be seamless onto [login to view URL] and any tracking information regarding the financial details of the transaction should be put into the users admin file. The admin file for the users should also have an area for notes. Once the payment has been received the information will be posted. Users will have the ability to login and change content of their data.
The website will be simple and easy to navigate with full search, and multiply button searches and list searches related to the categories. The heading for the searches will be populated be the categories selected by the users. Multiple banner ads will be populated by user information throughout the site. I like a clean professional sites. If you are interested in this projected include the cost for duplication of the site with minimal text changes and minimal graphic changes.
