We have a job that requires us to interface with Bigfix to automate patch management on Windows, CentOS and Ubuntu servers. We need some background knowledge so we can properly quote for this job. We are experienced with WSUS but not BigFix.

We are looking for a 1 -2hr Q&A session on how Bigfix works, differences between WSUS and Bigfix, how to automate patch management using Bigfix

we also like to know:

1: patch procedure, patch selection,filter

2: scheduling, activation

3: what to do if manual patching is required

4: patch sequence. service stack update, cumulative update. patch reboot & patch dependency

Able to demonstrate with a working bigfix GUI is desired.
