Bust model of the late Robert Nesta Marley (Bob Marley). Created using 3D Studio Max, Zbrush, Photoshop and Unreal Engine 4. For a university assignment were given the task to create a model with the likeness of a celebrity. After doing some research I decided that Bob Marley would be the person I would attempt to recreate. Suitable reference images were difficult to find but overtime enough source material was gathered to begin modeling. Initially a sculpt was made first within Zbrush in order to create a high-polygon model. It was important to add as much facial detail as possible before moving onto the next stage. One of the challenges I faced was to get the correct shape for the cheekbone and trying to match the reference images. The low-polygon model was constructed within 3D Studio Max. Here I unwrapped the model and created the required material ID's. The eyes using multiple layers in order to make them appear more realistic. The textures were then projected from the hig

This game was created in 48 hours during Global Games Jam 2019 by myself and 2 others. Software used included Gamemaker Studio 2, Photoshop and Cubase. The theme was “What home means to you”. The aim of this game is simple - defend the base (home) from the invading alien ships that attempt to kamikaze into it. There are 10 waves that progressively get more difficult. The aim is to gain the highest score and/or survive all the waves.

Development is taking place within Epic’s Unreal Engine 4 (UE4). The game centers around the protagonist who is pulled in to the world of his subconscious and must battle against the negative thoughts, emotions and instincts that dwell with himself. Players must fight against seemingly endless waves of enemies who are under the command of the antagonist. She rules this world and can only be stopped by the character’s own willpower and mental strength. The game heavily based upon the research of Psychoanalysis and Positive Psychology. My own life experiences will be used as references during the development of characters and the overall narrative. A MOBA-style environment created using 3D Studio Max, 3D Coat, Zbrush, Photoshop and Unreal Engine 4. This environment is inspired by the Star Wars franchise and images of the entrance halls to the temples were used as reference. High and low-poly assets were created using a combination of 3D Studio Max and Zbrush. The textures were painted using 3D Coat and Photoshop in order to create a hand painted style appearance. Within Unreal Engine 4, a post processing volume was used to create a cel-shading outline. This would emphasise the hand painted aesthetic that was desired.
