Development and building of the financial and operational infrastructure including company incorporation, operational plans, logistics management, financial and other policies and procedures for the business function as well as successful implementation of SAP Business One • Liaise with key stakeholders, including DKT International, government/ local authorities, donors and other business partners as appropriate. • Development of the strategic priorities and operational plans in collaboration with the Country Director & DKT International Head Quarters. • Provide financial management advice to the Country Director, including preparation and monitoring of project/ donor budgets and annual budgets. • Provide technical support to project staff in financial management accounting; provide opportunities for training and orientation in finance and accounting • Created a robust control environment from ground up, implement and maintain accounting and financial internal control systems in order to provide appropriate level of security over the projects resources and operations. • Defined and periodically review and update financial policies and procedures • Developed Costing & Pricing exercises keeping in view the product wise CYP contribution to the portfolio • Manage the financial and compliance aspects of government and donors and ensure that expenses are incurred consistent with grant agreements • Set up, maintain, and fully utilise SAP Business One. This includes setting up of DKT’s own and grant based accounting, use of standard chart of accounts, month-end procedures, etc. • Provide support during external audit and ensure that appropriate measures are taken to address audit findings and recommendations. • Manage planning of procurement, shipment, inventory control, logistics and distribution. • Driving the design, development, implementation and management of logistics. • Recruitment, retention and team building for DKT Pakistan (relevant departments). Additionally • Support on resource mobilisation, including project design and proposal writing • Provide personal / career development support/ Mentoring to other team members, as required. • Collaborate with the CD in developing the quarterly, yearly and three yearly operational plan • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports • Undertake any other activity that contributes to the smooth running and development of DKT Pakistan • Preparation of a comprehensive Company Budget forming the basis of the Annual Operational Plan and tracking mechanism for the same. • Keeping abreast of changes in Financial Regulations & Legislation.
