I have been writing software for fifteen years. I started programming at a very young age when I began teaching myself the C++ programming language. Since then, my interest in all things code has simply snowballed. For me, software engineering is not simply a career, it's a hobby and a passion. I can't remember a day in the past fifteen years that I didn't write any code.
I recently graduated from Copper Mountain Community College with AS degrees in computer science and mathematics with an emphasis on physics. I am now attending the University of California at Riverside.
My main areas of interest, where I spend most of my time practicing and researching, are physical simulations, robotics, operating systems, compilers, libraries, graphics, optimization, and user experience. I maintain a working knowledge of databases (relational and otherwise) and web development (both client- and server-side) for a myriad of professional and personal projects.
