Having more than 7 year experience in Oracle database , i can manage all type of works to handle and mange database like backup , recovery. ASM/Dataguard/RMAN/RAC/Golden Gate etc I am working in below thins as my responsibility in daily routine. • Working 24*7 on production databases providing support around 1000 databases on different platform such as AIX, LINUX, Windows. • Perform Installation &configuration and upgrading of oracle software. • Perform creation of database by manual method and DBCA. • Perform Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges). • Perform Creating, monitoring and managing Oracle physical and logical storage structure for storage space availability and its growth. • Perform Creation, administration and reorganization of database objects when required. • Perform Restore ,Backup databases using Hot, Cold, RMAN and Export backup. • Perform Transporting data between database using Export /Import. • Logical backup – Export/import and physical backup – Cold and Hot backup. • Perform Managing database by monitoring diagnostic files like Alert_SID.log, trace files. • User management like user creation ,unlocking & assigning profiles. • Monitoring the database’s through OEM console • Working on SR’s & incident within the SLA limit’s. • Working on change request & catalog request • Doing regular TTS import’s & other types of import via imp/impdp . • Taking RMAN backup’s & solving the issues related to backup. • Doing scheduled Reorg activities. • Index Rebuilding activities & compress table. • Doing the activity of BCV every night. • Applying regular schedule Oracle Patches , Grid Patch and Fleet Patching . • Creation of Physical standby database& solving the archive gap & syncing issues. • Performing DR Drill activity like switchover. • Doing basic database performance check & providing statspack/AWR/ADDM reports to clients on demand. • Stat gathering on database objects when required. • Performing ASM related task like adding disk etc. Migration from Non-ASM to ASM. • Working on RAC environment , managing and maintaining RAC database’s. • Working on Golden Gate environment ,maintaining and managing GG. • Raising Service Request on Metalink Oracle Support.
