• Three year Diploma in Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition from Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa , New Delhi.(1994-1997)
• Six month Diploma in Sales and Marketing from National Council for Labour Management ,Chennai.(1996)
• Masters Diploma in Business Administration with specialization in Personnel Management from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies,Pune(1999-2001)

EXPERIENCE
• Hospitality Faculty at Sinhgad Institute of Hospitality and Aviation Management (SIAHM), Pune. (Sept 2008- Sept 2009). Was responsible for training undergraduates/professionals in various aspects of hospitality management by taking them through different modules including live demos and practical sessions with role plays.
• Management trainee and Shift In charge in the Front Office department of Hotel Taj Mahal, New Delhi. (June1997-June1998)- Went through training in the various sub departments of Front Office (Reservations, Cashiering, Taj Club, Guest Relations, etc) and was promoted to Shift In charge; was thereafter responsible for all activities of the front desk staff. Handled elite clientele sensitively and was appreciated by guests and management alike.
• Six months industrial training in all the operational departments in Hotel Taj Mahal, New Delhi .(Oct 1995-Mar1996)- as part of three year hotel management diploma curriculum. Worked in all the four major departments of the Hotel namely, Front Office, Food and Beverage, Housekeeping and Kitchens. Underwent training in all subsidiary departments like Travel desk, Concierge, Reservations, Room Service, Personnel, Maintenance, etc, as well. Got continuous “on the job” appraisals for all the above and excelled in the overall training programme.
• Training Coordinator at The Redwood Edge- (Aug 2006 to Mar2007) - a corporate training consultancy based in Pune. I was handling all client communication and was also a part of the creative team that used to make training modules for various global corporate giants.
• Customer Care Executive cum NCE trainer for Modi Korea Telecommunications Ltd,Chandigarh. (Sept1998-Mar1999) whereby I was in charge of the showroom and imparted training to all Network Communication Executives ( NCEs ) on effective communication skills and telephone etiquettes.
