I'm an experienced engineer with a variety of projects and positions in my portfolio. After a toolmaker craftsmanship education with subsequent occupation, I decided to study a material-scientific study specified on Ceramic Technology. After my Diploma, which I did in Biel(CH) I migrated to Switzerland and joined a middle sized Company in the Ceramic Industry. After several years in this occupation with many different successfully managed challenges, I put my focus entirely on the IT industry. All stuff IT attracted me since I was a teenager so I eventually acquired experience in programming during my second education. As part of my management job in an SME I organized anything related to the IT environment. Nowadays one would call it Head of IT. My extensive knowledge of the ERP software (they've used) and my flair for organizing the complex prozesses with help of database design and programming techniques enabled me to change the branch and to begin my career in the field of IT. So I began in 1999 as a software developer and I was responsible for various customer projects in diverse industries. After a 6 month sojourn in Korea, I continued working with a market leader of medical devices and successfully took full responsibility for an ongoing CRM project, which was near roll-out in Switzerland and Germany. Soon after, I was asked to improve an industry-specific B2C solution. Both projects needed fast adaptations and extensions which I successfully realized. Including a wide field of GUI and functional changes, data interfaces, document- and process automation, kiosk browsing, automatic Email2Fax document delivery and web applications designed and developed in the Intranet. During this period I had the opportunity to strongly expand my IT skills, completed an "E-business manager" training and made valuable experience with integrations to SAP R3 and SAP BW. From 2004, I led the first B2B integration projects with EAI tools such as SAP's Business Connector, and an alternative smart EAI solution. In 2006, I have been involved in the "ramp up" project for SAP's Netweaver 2004s which went productive in October 2006. For the SAP roll-out of the Japanese subsidiary, I developed a Email2Fax gateway based on a Unified Messaging server. I've remained successful in the replacement of the CRM Solution, which had seen EOL, with a fully self developed CRM solution realized in SAP, contributed and gained much experience within the SD module and the "Legacy System Migration Workbench of SAP. After that I moved my focus entirely on reporting, data modeling, automation, and authorizations in SAP BI. After being unemployed and migrating to Korea I had to reconsider what I can and like to do in a foreign country with a different culture and language. Since I'm open and willing to make new experiences I started teaching ESL for children on a request from a friend, now in the third institution in Korea (every time being request to do so). However my professional interests still remain in the field of software development. My private interest is playing and teaching Music. My main instrument is the Saxophone, besides I play e-Bass on a regular basis.
