Contest Brief

We are going to be creating a mailshot and targeting specific companies within the UK building industry.

The brief is this; create an eye catching piece of advertising material that we can send out to our target market to inspire confidence in an effort to win work. There are no rules surrounding this other than it needs to inspire trust and be in an edittable format. The number of pages, the design and the wording is completely at your discretion.

Our target market is UK building contractors with a view to securing ceramic wall and floor tiling works. The readers within this market will include; Quantity Surveyors; Bidders; Buyers; Company Owners; Contracts Managers; Assistant Quantity Surveyors

The successful marketing images need to inspire trust and confidence in very short time whilst being easy to read and maintaining readers interest. It needs to include important information such as insurers, our details and our ability to carry out our works.

This will be mailed out in an A4 sized letter to be marketed within the UK by standard post.

I have attached some company details but can provide more of anything you feel you need. Please don't feel the need to be conventional in fact we are a lot more likely to embrace something out of the ordinary and that shows that imagination has been used.

Hello-- By editable format are you saying you would prefer to be able to use a template in Microsoft word? Or can you use Adobe Acrobat pro editable formats? Thanks!

  I have now attached our standard company introductory letter. However please note that we are not necessarily looking for a similar format. If an idea is brought to our attention that uses creativity to convey information in a way we haven't thought of. Then that could be a lot more interesting an idea! Please feel free however to use your imagination.
