Architecture design for a terrace and BBQ place - 1st part (design)

Contest Brief

We are a family of 4 who live close to Santiago in a rural area. Our house sits on a hill 6 km from the highway thru a dirt road.

We want to re design our terrace and BBQ place in order to give it a "restaurant / bar" vibe. Today we have a collection of stuff around our terrace and BBQ but it lacks character or that vibe we are looking for. We want it to be themed around traveling which we love on our family plus add references to BBQ and meat.

We want to have a tabletop designed next to the BBQ which holds a dishwasher, small freezer, wash basin, cabinets and space for a trash bin. We want to have floating shelves where we can show case special souvenirs from our trips. We want part of the area closed with glass door which can make the place work during winter and opened during summer. The area closed is between axis 1 and 3 detailed on the attached plans. The rest of the terrace would be opened. As you will see in the attached pictures, there is a door that connects to the kitchen which we want to change to a sliding door as well.

This Job request is split in 2 parts:
- 1st part is to come up with sketches of design propositions (2 at least). These can be hand drawn, computer made, fully realistic or not. The goal is to have a clear idea of what is your design proposition for this space.
- 2nd part of the job. If designs are selected you would be required to:
- Present detailed architecture plans which can be used to build whatever is needed (furniture as table top and cabinets)
- Renders (5) of different views of the definitive design proposition

2nd part will be part of a new Job Request. So quote your proposal just for part 1. Additionally, you can inform what would be the cost of part 2 if you where to be selected.
