Contest Brief

I am looking for someone to help us design a logo for a police association located in Texas. We would like to have the shape of the State of Texas (see state sample) centered in a circle with a five-point star located in the middle (see star sample with Letters). Around the outside circle we would like the to see the following wording: "Texas HHS Office of Inspector General" (at the top) and "State Police Assoc." (at the bottom). If you have other ideas, I would love to see them

I have added the shape of Texas for those who were uncertain of the shape (see Texas-shape png).

I also provided a more detailed photo of the letters that go around the star (see Texas DPS Logo jpg)

Some artists have shown the "master peace officer" gif (see attached) with the star and TEXAS letters and it looked great. However, the shape of Texas was wrong. Maybe this will help. Thank you for your hard work!
