4 Cartoon Strips each with one of 4 characters, speaking into Home device with blank balloons for future text

Contest Brief

Each strip is 2 square boxes side by side. Left square: blacklish theme, with unique character talking to Mobile, Computer, or Alexa-like device -OR- talking to one of the other 3 characters. Right square: whitish theme, same character, aged by ~5 years talking to futuristic Home or Alexa device (think watch, smart goggles, star trek like communicator device, etc., but must not infringe on prior copyrights). Each square (left and right) has 2 conversation balloons inside, one for the character asking the question, the second blank balloon is for response from other character or device in the right or futuristic square. Total of 4 strips, or 1 for each of 4 different diverse characters. Mood of character: upwardly mobile managers, techies, CTO/CIO, stereotypes. Dimension: two 1000px x 1000px side-by-side, 20px-40px gutter between (total < 2040px wide). Color: vector based, black-and-white mostly with splash of solid color for accent is fine, meaning no gradients. Please use Adobe-based tools Illustrator/Animate/After Effects/etc or compatible outputs. Leave conversation balloons blank, either white or black background. Will leave character up to you including: hair, dress/clothing preference, race, weight, etc., but need to be neat, smart, diverse and appealing characters to win. PLEASE be respectful as it is general audience content, meaning NO NUDITY, NO SMOKING, NO ALCOHOL, or other potentially offending imagery.

PLEASE BE SURE TO ADD SQUARE BOX BOUNDARIES, THE TWO IMAGES CANNOT OVERLAP.

    I haven't ran a contest before, are you able to see comments to each submission? If not, thought I would share it here. First, a lot of very great artwork, thank you, everyone. Appealing after the initial reviews: 1. facial and body expression in the character's reaction to discussion with the device is key, e.g., happy-, engaged-, wow'd-, or intrigued-type reactions. 2. The company's color is #355c35 if you want to incorporate into the artwork. 3. Focus on the conversation and the characters' reaction (zoom in?, close up?), less focus on the background. 4. Clean rounded rectangle text bubbles will be preferred due to mostly business audience. 5. try to follow the ask: each of 4 character in their own side-by-side squares with each character aging slightly from left to right, dark vs light theme for the pair of images, and the character is having a dialogue with the device. Thanks again everyone. Open to possibly buying 2nd and 3rd place as well, depends on our final budget.
