Animation (or at least decentish animation) is very expensive. When done properly it requires rough sketches, several frame drawings and several iterations. The price is truly inadequate for this task. It would be smallish even for a simple vector drawing (especially considering that freelancer.com will take 5 dollars out of 15 as a fee) but for animation it is a truly miniscule price. Normally I would also add that for a contest the price should be a bit higher than for an ordinary project because many freelancers work and only one gets paid so the price usually should compensate risk of not being paid to appeal to a freelancer but in case of this particular contest at least getting price to the level of ordinary project would be a dramatic improvement already #increaseprize

Maybe I'll increase the prize pool here. Really hoping to get something on par or better than that pikachu gif animation. Will check back in tomorrow.
