Contest Brief

I am looking for a new logo for our cafe, Utopia cafe. I am undecided as to exactly what I want but have a few ideas and pictures to lead in the right direction. I want a logo that is relatively simple, fairly bold which I can use for outside signage and will be easily readable. It will incorporate Utopia cafe's current identity as being a modern cafe selling up-market food items which takes a fresh approach to food. As can be seen from the pictures, the cafe has a black theme with lots of lights in it. The logo must go against a black background (will be placed along the wall in the picture) Regarding colors I am leaning towards green to tie in with the leaves as pictured, other colors that could be used would be a bright gold, or a crimson red and green like our rose we have in the cafe.
