Contest Brief

Design a logo for a personal travel blog - Mr Adam’s Travels -

The website has stories from my experiences travelling the world, as well as hints, tips, and information to help people travel and be more confident in their travels.

There is some serious information, but I also use a fair bit of personality, humour, quirkiness throughout my posts. People enjoy the blog not just for help on travel, but also amusing stories and rants from my time on the road.

The logo could incorporate some humour / quirky - but not be totally crazy. Overall simple design, but original. Reflect the fact that it’s a personal blog, not a corporate design. Include some kind of representation of me - possibly the figure of a person, who it travelling or telling a story.

Include something to do with travel - can be a bit abstract, but recognisable.
Include the name - Mr Adam’s Travels

Please use some blue (#2AA4CF) & black - to match my website colouring. You could use 1 other colour as well (preferably a bright, primary colour), but in keeping it simple, I don’t want too many colours.

I want a high resolution logo, for easy re-sizing etc. I would like the option of transparent background, so I can add the logo to photos etc. so a copy in PNG format

    As this is a personal blog brand, I love what @babicpredrag has done in #35 & #74 by including me in the logo.

    It would be nice to see a few different logos that incorporate similar sorts of things, to make it look like my personal brand.

    Some are really good, however I don't feel they fit with my brand.

    Keep in mind that I don't want a formal looking corporate travel agent type logo. This is for a blog about me and my travels. I'd like some personality in my logo design.

    Just a point - if you're going to put a world globe in the design, my preference would be to have it focused on Asia/Australia/Africa, similar to #6 - being Australian, I like to see my country on the map:)
