Contest Brief
We own a series of 20 websites, examples include www.sailinglatest.com, www.currentastronomy.com, http://www.cyclinglatest.com, and http://www.latestrugby.com.
Each website has a logo in the top left hand corner, that is just the name of the website in different colours.
We are looking to redesign these logo's so that they look professionally produced.
As part of this contest, please do the following:
1) Come up with an overall design for one of the logos. Keeping in mind that whatever is produced will need to be later reproduced easily across all other websites.
2) Come up with a colour pallet (including hex codes) for up to 8 different colour variants for the websites. Each website would be assigned 1 of the colours, and the logo would be in this colour.
3) Show the example logo produced in number 1), in each of the 8 colours you have selected, to show that it looks good in all colours.
4) Provide a black/white version of the logo.
As part of the output of this project we will expect to see a file containing the final logo design in .png, and .jpeg, rendered out in 5 different pixel sizes, for use in different scenarios.
The logo will be the sole property of our business, and you will not hold any IP for the logo.
The logo should be something that is easy to reproduce for AUD 2 per website (we have 200 in total to eventually produce using the same template). It is not part of the scope of the contest to create more than one logo - however, there will be several projects later for the person who wins the contest, to create all of the other logos. A total of AUD 400 will be made available over a few months for producing the other 199 logos.
