Contest Brief

I am seeking a designer to create me the following:

1) 11 x 17 Poster, full color, with bleed
2) Email version to email: 400 high x 600 wide
3) 3 Ads:
300 wide x 600 high
300 wide x 250 high
300 wide x 100 high

Look of Poster
1) Professional - use colors: Red and possibly some blue and a lot of white. Have it look clean.
2) Clean
3) White space is a good thing.

Commerce Blue + Medicine wheel colors (see attached)
Use more of the white.

Name of Organization putting on the event (logo being created. use a place holder for now): Saskatoon Aboriginal Professionals Association (SAPA)

Title of event: Deconstructing Professional

What does it mean to be an Aboriginal professional? What unique characteristics embody an Aboriginal professional? How are Aboriginal people carving out space in their respective professional realms? This session will explore these questions offering a broader understanding of what professional means in the context for Aboriginal people.

Date: Wednesday, March 19, 2014
Time: 5pm to 8pm
Location: Top of the Inn, Sheraton Cavalier Saskatoon Hotel

We are open to images that you think portray what we are thing to get across. Professional. But keep in mind professional can be a Cook, Plumber, CEO. Maybe those three images would work. Just a thought.
