Contest Brief

ANABOLIC.ORG is under development and needs a logo. This will be a website for anabolic steroid and other drug information. Here is what we're looking for.

William Llewellyn's <-- this part small
ANABOLIC.ORG <--- this part big
Your #1 Source for Accurate Information! <---- Tagline. Must deliver logo with and without tagline.

Thoughts:

- Don't make .org too small. We don't want confusion with other domain extensions.
- Perhaps underline or emphasize "Reliable".
- Added Icon is a maybe, not a must. We like the contests for variety, so get creative.
- Flexed muscles and needles are probably not good images. This site must feel AUTHORITATIVE and serious, but also BOLD and STRONG.

  Many nice artful logos were rejected simply because we felt they didn't represent the audience closely enough. We also rejected older versions of submissions to keep the page clean. Of course, not every entry was beautiful… but overall we're happy with the talent here.

Hey everyone, I want you all to know that Freelancer.com just F*CKED ME (and others) out of winnings for another "GUARANTEED" contest here recently.The "Guarantee" specifies that the prize money will be awarded, but what they don't tell you is that if the contest holder walks away, only the entrants whose works the contest holder looked at will share the prize. In a contest like this, with hundreds of entries, there is a SIGNIFICANT CHANCE that all the entries will not be looked at. Hence, you are basically doing work FOR NOTHING if the contest holder walks away (which I hear happens a significant percent of the time).

  Unfortunately, I'm involved in a lot of contest. I dont understand this. The prize is awarded, the holder spent a money, freelancers spent a lot of time. They get nothing for money, freelancers worked for nothing.

Thank you everyone for participating. There were some excellent designs on this contest… some very impressive talent. Choosing a winner was difficult, but ultimately we found that this design best represents what we are looking for. Our best to everyone.

I'm rejecting designs JUST TO CLEAN UP THE PAGE. Many are very creative. I just feel if we know that design isn't the one, better to reject it now than encourage continued progress on a design we don't like. There are many talented designers on here, and I hope you continue.

This contest is off to a great start. Just so you all know how we rate: If you have one or two stars, we might find the work creative, but it isn't going in a direction we feel might win. We suggest a new approach if you want to try again. 3 stars means you are in the running, but your design needs more work. 4 starts, you are in serious contention. 5 starts we reserve toward the end, when there are only a few options that we are seriously considering.
