Contest Brief

I am looking for a talented designer to create a logo for my product. The preferred style for the logo is minimalist, with clean lines and a simple design. I have a general idea of the colors and fonts I would like to use, but I am open to suggestions and creative input from the designer. The purpose of the logo is to represent and promote my product, so it should be eye-catching and memorable.

Ideal skills and experience for this job include:
- Strong logo design skills, with a portfolio showcasing previous work in minimalist design
- Proficiency in graphic design software
- Understanding of branding and the ability to create a logo that conveys the essence of the product
- Ability to work collaboratively and incorporate feedback into the design
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics

I am an attorney. The name of my firm is "Walter J. Mathews, PA" For design purposes I am open to simplifying the firm name to "Walter Mathews, PA" I'm open to ideas on the use of a font (likely san seriff although a seriff font may be appealing to take advange of the "W" and "M". It might be clever to stagger the firm name as such:
Walter
Mathews, PA (perhaps small caps for the P.A. so it is not so dominate).

For the logo, I have attached a file of a lion on a shield. I'd like to use the lion as a logo as it is a family shield. Some ideas: (1) use it as is; (2) simplify it; (3) as a pencil rubbing; or (4) generate the lion logo asa "hedcut" that is largely out of dots and hatached lines (similar to those used in the Wall Street Journal).

The total concept is to have the logo on the left with the firm name to the right of it. I'll require files that are scaleable and able to be used on website, stationary and outlook signature. Thanks.

Attached is a copy of my current logo for what it is worth.

Hello Sir, Question: Your attached file with lion on the shield is family Coat of Arms of families and was used by the House of Dunkeld, House of Du Puy, House of Wemyss, etc.. If you do not trust then research and check in the Scotland and England state archives. How can be used for your logo and using in PA, USA? FYI, what I suppose You do not have a rights (copyrights) to use a same lion in the shield as your family logo or as logo for your business, without proofs that you have a rights as descendant of some of this previous mentioned families or confirmation that you are related to them. As you said in your brief that You are attorney, you should need to know about that and law EU restrictions of copyrights for around World, especially EU laws (state where this crest exist) for USA and using in USA for use this same crest of the lion (and same lion) also on the shield in same colors, for your logo. If you will use, maybe you will have law problems, just to remind to you.
