Contest Brief

Brief about the App:

Instrumentalists learn new songs by reading music notations, and in the context of Raga-based music (such as Bollywood film songs or Indian classical music) the notation is written in Sa Re Ga Ma format (an Indic version of Solfege written in any language)

The App displays music notations (called Swaras or Sargam or Sa Re Ga Ma notations) in sync with Youtube videos, which the music student can view and practice with.

The attached image is an example of notated composition.

Suggestions:

- Avoid using western music/sheet music notation symbols
- Using motifs related to traditional instruments (e.g. Sitar or flute) is ok
- Using motifs related to the characters Sa Re Ga (in Hindi/Devanagri, not in English) is ok, however avoid using all the Sa Re Ga characters together.
- Using motifs/images of instrumentalist (e.g. guitar or sitar, not a vocalist) performing on stage is ok.
- Color palette: Warm colours preferred.

Requirements:

- Output should be in vector graphics format (e.g. SVG)
- I prefer that the logo is circle-cropped and optimized for Instagram / Youtube/ Twitter.
- The logo is not required for print media.

      As mentioned in the clarification, a non-verbal logo is preferred. However it is ok to use/include a single character "Sa" in Devanagri.

    A clarification: Several entries assume that the name is "Swaras", it is not. There is no name required . However, using one or two characters as part of the logo is ok.
