Contest Brief

For my packaging design project, I am looking for an experienced designer to help create a plastic bag for pellets. I have an exact measurement in mind, which is 15 kg.

I am sending you two examples in the attachment, one is from a company that also makes pellets for us, and the other is from a Slovenian company that also sells pellets.

Our wishes are that the packaging is green-brown and there are spruce trees. We named the pellets GreenFuel.si.

There must also be space for the barcode on three sides, i.e. front and sides. The barcode should be on a white background. We will send you the barcode later, as we do not have it yet.

Pellet packaging information:

· GreenFuel.si – the name of the pellets

o Pure qualiuty - inscription and star for quality, similar to the one on the bag in the attachment

· Technical characteristics:

· Diameter: 6 mm

· Length: 3.15 ≤ L ≤ 40 mm

Moisture content: < 10%

· Mechanical strength: 98.10%

Ash content: 0.7%

· Calorific value: 17.5 MJ/kg

· Origin: BIH

· Raw material: wood

· Store in a dry place. Use wood pellets in wood pellet heating devices, in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and legal requirements. You can recycle the packaging.

· Circle sign with umbrella and drops, loop for recycling, neutral energy + CO2 (as shown on the blue/green packaging in the attachment)

· FSC (sign as on the packaging in the attachments)
