I need a very brief lesson in Photoshop. I want to remove the background from this headshot. And from the writing on the second scan. This is for personal use, but the quality must be high. The background must be totally gone, and the writing needs to be cleaned up a little. Also, my scans are very detailed, showing threads in the original. Those signs of thread need to go, also. Finally, two files need to be joined: top of man's hair, and headshot.
Keep in mind, I am looking for a LESSON in Photoshop. I need to learn how to do this myself!
