Contest Brief

Caplan Twins Graduation Project

I want a fully original artwork depicting my twin sons’ high school graduation, with a large ensemble of people in attendance in the audience, plus an inset “key” identifying all the characters. The twins who are graduating should be in red graduation robes. Everyone else should NOT be in graduation robes, just nice clothes suitable for a graduation.

I am open to a wide variety of artistic styles, but I want you to follow my attached instructions exactly. Winning entries MUST be original artworks. I do not want a digital photo collage, or just tracing of the reference pics.

In addition to the main prize of $440, I will also consider awarding $100 prizes to excellent runner-ups. (I followed through on a similar offer on my last freelancer project).

P.S. I've added some extra references pictures of key characters, including the twins, parents, and grandparents, plus side views of the twins.

Sir, all people in rows 2-5 are...say general public ( there's no description if they are blond / brunette / tanned etc.), and you want a simple cartoon scene ( there are no close up photos of the twins, how can I make a good quality illustration without it? )

I'm sorry, but this is a very complex painting, with 50+ people, capturing the likeness of each of them and make a good composition will take nearly a month, if not more. you should consider increasing the prize, by a lot. #increaseprize
