Contest Brief

I am opening an online shop selling washi tape.
I will also be offering a birthday party service whereby customers can book a party for their children. The party will be hosted by me and will take the form of a craft activity using washi tape.

The target market will be predominantly female and will vary from teenagers, right through to parents and grandparents buying for their children and as gifts. The washi tape will be used for general craft, decorating and creating invitations. The options are endless!

Whilst the target market will be predominantly female, I want top open it up to the male market longer term.

I am seeking a banner that will go across the top of my website and which can also be used to create a postcard sized flyer advertising birthday parties. The name of my business is Washi Mama.
One idea I had was to make the text Washi Mama out of washi tape but I am open to other ideas! I haven't seen any other washi tape websites that I absolutely love - the closest is probably www.cutetape.com

Following the banner, I would like a circular shaped logo created where it's main application will be as a sticker applied to the rolls of washi tape before mailing out (see attached photo). The diameter should measure 4.5cm.

There will be scope for further work creating stationary, packaging and signage.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and be interested in the arts and crafts with a portfolio that aligns with Washi Mama's vision.

I have attached excerpts from the website design brief that I thought would give Freeelancers some background invitation that might help them in putting together their designs.
