Video Organizer/Conversion/compression

What I am looking for is a video organizer that can convert files to any file type such as (avi,mkv,mov,mpg,rm) etc from any video file type. Also it needs to be able to change HD videos (720p, 1080p) to SD videos (480p). The need for this is to shrink down the size of larger files for easier storage.

The video database is going to be made up of commercial movies and TV shows and I would also need this to be able to pull and save metadata for the tv show or movie from IMDB and TVDB. The metadata should be saved in the folder the video is located in a folder named "metadata". I would like this to have a clean user interface that is simple to use for anyone.

I would also like there to be a donate button in the top right corner of the UI.

The program should also have the ability to add shows manually and have the program automatically rename the video with the show and episode number as set according to user preferences.

Something like Calibre for movies and tv shows is what i am looking for.
