Salesforce trigger on agreements

I need to have a trigger that act before insert an echosign agreement and don't let a user send to sign and insert an agreement in the customer account according some rules.
The rules for not letting the user insert are:
1 - The agreement should start with some name, for instance "Final Agreement"; and
2 - For that specific customer it cant exist other signed agreements starting with some name, for instance "CEF".
The practical of this work is to not let users send contracts without other documents to be sent and signed before, for instance sending the final contract without previous inspection or waiver being signed.
