We think you'll really enjoy working on the final sprint helping taking us into Beta/funding (and if you have fun, hopefully stay beyond that!).
What is it? [url removed, login to view] is a dynamic pricing retail platform allowing shoppers to save, share and earn as much as they want by trading deals with each other.
How does it work? Everyday mypopsales launches several limited time and quantity pop-sales on products, services and experiences (on average each sale lasting 48 hours with 100 available deals in each sale). The 3 core front end user steps are:
1. SAVE - users join a sale to reserve the unique price they see on screen; they then pay that price for the deal if the min number of deals get sold before the deadline. Users can save anything between 99.8% and 15% off the RRP depending on when they reserve a deal.
2. SHARE - users share and promote the deal to their networks via fb, twitter, email etc to ensure the tipping point is reached. If the min number of deals are not sold; then the deal is off.
3. EARN - If the min number of deals are sold before the deadline, the deal is on and users with reserved deals can resell their deals on at a higher price to earn money until times up.
What makes this platform unique is that prices are constantly changing and peg demand based on the liquidity of supply generated by users themselves. We believe that in this fre-emarketplace, individuals will pursue their own self-interest (the impulse to Save or Earn), and the consequences of this will be beneficial for the rest of society (Brands, Users, Merchants and us)
What framework is the current platform built on?
Framework and Language: ASP [url removed, login to view] with C# 4.0 (4.5)
Database: MS SQL Server 2008 R2
Front End: XHTML/CSS and jQuery (HTML 5)
UI Designs have been coded and front-end developed.
The existing platform has been developed off-shore and has been reviewed by a UK consultancy for quality assurance. We're now approaching an important stage working towards a beta launch and require a reliable hacker in London we can meet more in person and bug.

We have all the source code solutions/versions, databases, published copies and you\'ll also have the support of our existing software development team should you require it. We have detailed test scripts for the MVP which highlight the deliverables.
When can you start? Ideally now would be great because the sooner we launch the MVP, the sooner we can go back to investors with data and have a full-scale launch.

You\'ve worked with teams we know and have ecommerce/financial experience.
