Hi,
I am looking for some help with my prestashop website 1.3 RC4. We are looking for a programmer / designer who can help us install a UPS module that can take into account the origin of the shipper ( distributor address) and the delivery address. The module needs to connect to the UPS server and return the rates back to our website.
The program needs to be in the form of a module with minimum change to the core code of the websites; there are some module out there than can do that, but I am not sure how well they function.
The rates should be returned only at the checkout stage for non-logged in customers, and should update the shopping cart block appropriatley for customers that are logged in.
The prices returned by the UPS module should take into account the size and weight of the package. It should also return insurrance rate. I beleive that most of it is included with the Prestashop UPS module out there but it needs to be verified.
The project should also have the option to add additional shipping cost to our products where there would be an admin tab to add potential additional shipping cost.
The second part of the project would be an improvement of the physical appearance of the website, which is a vague definition, but we would like the website to look a little beat cleaner, having may be a better more like aquatic aquarium presentation, to be unique,
especially nice gifs and icons to replace the standard prestashop category titles and icons. Please include a physical appearance adjustments suggestions in your bid or via PM. Basically improvement to the templates. It looks very square right now.
