Project Tasks
1- Go to Best of the Web Blog Directory, [login to view URL],
2- There are 12 categories such as Arts, Business etc, each of which has a number of sub-categories, for example the Business category has 41 sub-categories such as Aerospace and Defense, Entrepreneurship, Accounting etc.
3- For each sub-category, visit 20 blogs (if available) and extract the name (first, last) of the blogger, the blog website URL, the blogger's email. You may have to visit more than 20 blogs as some may not have the email of the blogger.
4- Create and enter the data into an Excel (2007+) spreadsheet, with
a) column A - blogger's first name
b) column B - blogger's last name
c) column C - full blog website URL, e.g [login to view URL]
d) column D - full blogger email e.g
e) column E - sub-category
f) column F - category
5- You MUST have a minimum of 100 valid entries per category otherwise you will NOT be paid. Submit the Excel spreadsheet with the EXACT format in step 4 above.
6- Checks - I'll randomly pick a number of entries from the spreadsheet and visit those websites. If ALL the entries I check are valid, i.e have full name, email, website URL, sub-category, category then you'll get paid.
